Collaboration with P+OPS

I am honored to have the opportunity to give back to my community and support those who might not have the capacity to receive the kind of holistic support I am devoted to offering spiritual seekers and heart-focused leaders.

I have partnered with an incredible organization that supports those struggling with addiction and recovery in the Okanagan region of British Colombia, Canada.

Since my humble beginnings in my healing and mentorship work originated from my experience at BYRC Vancouver, where I worked at a youth center as a live-in caretaker with at-risk young people, I am proud to partner with P+ OPS.

As a contributor, I now volunteer my spiritual guidance and coaching services to their staff in a group container once a month, with a vision to develop a deeper partnership in the future.

A word about P+OPS non-profit’s work and mission from their leaders:

“Overdose Prevention is so much more than carrying Naloxone. It is creating a conversation around what we need to better serve the people of our community and advocacy that these things be done. Our goal is to educate others on best practices, learn from the community of people who use substances and equip the people of the Syilx Territories and South Okanagan with the skills needed to prevent more unnecessary deaths.

P+OPS was created in 2021 as a community response to growing needs in the South Okanagan-Similkameen during the ongoing War on Drugs and Toxic Drug Crisis. We started with no funding and on a volunteer base to operate. Thank you to community donations and funding through some grants, we are able to have an employee base of around 30 people.

Our mission is to incorporate harm reduction principles and evidence based practices to serve people who use substances. We believe there is a continuum of care that needs to have services for people who use substances daily through to those who are abstinent. By meeting people where they are at, we believe P+OPS will be able to ensure the safety and continued well-being of any person while accessing our services.”
