A Few Things on Whiteness, Courage, and Leadership
Dear friend, how are you?
These weeks have been full of learning and Un-learning for a lot of us.
I want to take this chance to speak to the most critical aspect of our inner evolution into our potential as human beings. COURAGE.
You can see this moment in time, as an opportunity to recognize and exercise your COURAGE muscle.
It starts with you and me.
What do you want to leave as your legacy today?
It is happening in every moment you create, every conversation you allow, every learning you welcome to change your perception of what is real, and what is possible.
As a woman with enormous privilege, I will do my best to keep serving while stepping aside to create space for those we do not hear.
I will keep falling and getting back up.
Shall we do it together?
Black. Lives. Matter.

Listen. Lean in. Be uncomfortable.
I will leave you with this beautiful call to a successful life, by the extraordinary artist, activist, and leader, Maya Angelou.

Here is to those who show up, answer the call, and do what is right. Any resources you have found useful, books, and community initiatives you wish to share, please do: I am here to listen, learn, and change along with you.
Let's make that intention the theme of our conversations.
I wish you to let your energy flow towards ACTIVE kindness.

I am lucky to also contribute as a communications consultant at Concordia University's Intersectionality Hub.
